This one takes me back to my early childhood.
While growing up, it seemed that every single weekend there was a neighborhood BBQ of some sort. A volleyball net or badminton net would be set up in the back yard, drinks would be served (and served, and served some more) and kid would spend the entire afternoon outside with each other. Neighbors also each brought a dish to share (the 80's were a good time to be alive). This was one of the dishes my mom would frequently bring with us. It's easy to make, pleases a crowd, and is pretty inexpensive (my mom's kinda recipe!)
